Recently we dropped a bombshell when we announced about our partnership with an amazing racing driver, Mia Flewitt, throughout the whole 2020 season of the British GT Championship.

#VLteam likes speed! Within a few years, we have significantly grown from several dozen employees to a team of over 220 the best engineers! We have recently opened a new business unit in Berlin, an office in Rzeszów, and announced that Jon Pretty and Martin Odersky will become our advisors. A lot is happening, but we’re not slowing down! So the decision to support Mia was obvious to us – we share a passion for competition and continuous improvement of our abilities.
We are proud that we could become Mia’s partner in the British GT Championship races. She is the FIA Racing Driver and racing is in her blood!
I have been around and worked with cars my entire life, starting my career with Volvo back home in Sweden at 19 years of age. I held a number of positions including as a car builder before training and becoming a Manufacturing Engineer in the early 90’s. In the mid 90’s I went to work for TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) as an engineer where I led a small team of engineers working on the Renault Clio V6.
