Abstract:

As a software development manager or a technical leader you’re eager to remove impediments so your team can produce continuous results. Instilling a few technical practices can have significant impact on your teams ability to deliver continuous results. In this presentation we will cover the what, why, and how of essential technical practices that take time and effort but they result in saving significant cost and time in the long run.

Bio:

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is an award-winning author, founder of Agile Developer, Inc., creator of agilelearner.com, co-founder of the devdotnext software conference, and an instructional professor at the University of Houston.
He has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a regularly-invited speaker at several international conferences. Venkat helps his clients effectively apply and succeed with sustainable agile practices on their software projects.
