Investment Specialist

VirtusLab is on its path to becoming a Pan-European software engineering company, operating in all of the most complex and demanding niches of this market. We ask for your help and offer a position where you would be responsible for ensuring any acquisition and similar development made by our company is sound and reasonable. This involves detailed operational and financial analysis, financial modeling, negotiations and ability to agree on relevant conditions and on a legal document. You will also help shape and execute a broad acquisitions strategy, and ensure post-merger integration goes smoothly.

What & How 

  • Target origination: you will actively look for and review new targets to verify their fit to our strategy
  • Researching potential targets, their results, background and community
  • Evaluating and modeling VirtusLab and potential targets – developing financial models used to estimate cash flows, financing sources and future consolidated profitability
  • Overseeing acquisition: project management, due diligence, financial planning, negotiations, closing, and integration
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and taking part in negotiations
  • Preparing presentations and financial models for our company
  • Reporting, both internally and for external parties
  • Financing, from proposing a structure, through recommending to the Management Board / FIN on said structure, to negotiations with financing providers
